Course Description
The introduction course provides students with a broad understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning allowing students to learn the purpose and value of an ERP system to an organization. Students will learn the areas of a company affected by an ERP system by incorporating hands on processes within multiple disciplines. This course is built for those without any understanding, or very little understanding of what an ERP system is and how it can be used within an organization. This course is one of 4 courses required to complete the Enterprise Resource Planning Certificate.

About the Certificate Program
This Certificate can provide valuable education on what an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is along with hands on experience to help you move up within your organization or find a new position elsewhere. SAP® is the leading Enterprise Resource Planning software company in the world and we will utilize SAP® software to learn how to better manage business operations.
Certificate Requirements
To receive the Enterprise Resource Planning Certificate, participants must successfully complete the four required courses, maintaining at least a "C" average.

Professor June Wright is currently a Senior Analytics Analyst at Air Products and also the President of the Philadelphia Chapter of Americas’ SAP® Users Group (ASUG). She has a Master of Science in Workforce Education and Development from Penn State University and also a Master of Science in Information Systems from Drexel University.
Derek P. Loranca leads the Enterprise Business Intelligence Center of Excellence at Aetna. He is a SAP Mentor and Vice Chair of the Americas SAP User Group Philadelphia Chapter. He has been a guest lecturer in analytics at La Salle University and coordinated a wide range of technology user group and networking sessions in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
Derek holds a MBA in Healthcare Management and a MS in Healthcare Finance from Temple University, in addition to a BS in Management Information Systems from La Salle University.
