Explore 11 four-year baccalaureate degree programs and 5 two-year degree programs that can be completed entirely at the Penn State Fayette campus. Choose the 2+2 plan to begin the first two years of any of Penn State’s 275+ majors at the Fayette campus before completing the final two years at another Penn State Campus.

Our campus is located in Fayette County which is a part of the scenic Laurel Highlands of southwestern Pennsylvania between Connellsville and Uniontown. Penn State Fayette is about 50 miles from Pittsburgh and 30 miles from Morgantown, West Virginia.

Our low student-to-faculty ratio allows you to receive personal attention from the experienced, world-class Penn State faculty in a small setting. There are approximately 700 students, with 42% men and 58% women. About 38% of our students come from areas other than our local community, including 11 other states and 4 other countries.

We offer twelve varsity intercollegiate athletic teams, numerous club sports, and several opportunities for involvement at the intramural level. There's also the free Fitness Center and open gym time to keep you active.

Financial Aid

Approximately 90% of our students receive some form of financial aid. For those that qualify, the average total financial aid award is typically more than half the cost of tuition.

All first-year applicants are automatically considered for Penn State Fayette campus scholarships when they apply by the Scholarship Priority Deadline of February 1. These campus-based scholarships are merit scholarships based on an applicant’s previous accomplishments.
